Two years after his first album, Journey Over India, Paul Alexandre John released Ragas For You. This second album, features six tracks performed by Paul, with Paul Leake on tabla, and focuses on the ancient music of India -- ragas and folk songs. Raga Marwa is a serious, contemplative raga of sunset and early evening. Raga Kalavati is an evening raga which is played in the dhrupad style, an ancient form of musical expression. Raga Deepavali celebrates the festival of lights.
